Thank you to all our applicants and we are delighted to announce the EPNS will be supporting the following in 2024:
- Professor Kevin Rostasy, Germany, will visit Kazakhstan addressing the approach to a child with a suspected autoinflammatory disease in the context of the extensive differential diagnosis. Further, the spectrum of white matter diseases including NMOSD, MOGAD, MS and other rare entities will be discussed through a series of case presentations given by the participants and formal teaching.
- Professor Dana Craiu, Romania, will visit Kyrgyzstan addressing Epilepsy disorders; the lectures will be interactive and based on case-examples; topics covered will be: Epilepsy diagnosis; Epilepsy classification including 2022 syndromes classification. Treatment choice based on current guidelines, including epilepsy surgery and ketogenic diet. Treatment discontinuation and epilepsy in females will be other subjects. Case discussion and differential diagnosis will use EEG and video-EEG investigation methods, MRI and PET.
