EPNS FREE EEG Club!

The EPNS is delighted to offer a FREE twice monthly interactive 30–60-minute EEG club on Monday’s at 18:00h CET.

The EEG Club will be presented by Professor Dana Craiu and is available FREE to anyone who would like to register!

Do not worry if you are not available for the session however because fully paid up EPNS members will be able to access a recording of the full session along with an EEG Club report from Professor Craiu, via the EPNS Moodle after the event.

A growing library of EEGs and their attached reports will be available for fully paid up EPNS members via the EPNS Moodle!

Due to the interactive nature of the EEG Club, we will use a function to allow up to 100 attendees to be invited to participate, those selected will then be seen, heard and able to interact. We will ask attendees who are interested in participating to raise their hands at the start of the webinar and a selected number of attendees will then be upgraded to panellists.

*Please note that all webinar attendees will remain on mute unless they request to be a participant.

Presenting on 15 July will be Dr Cristina Pomeran, Senior Pediatric Neurologist in The Center of Expertise of Rare Pediatric Neurology Disorders in Bucharest Romania, Dr Pomeran’s main interests are in Epilepsy and EEG and she is a Virepa trainer in BEEG module. Professor Craiu will be moderating and participating in the discussion.

We expect attendees will make their own reading and report in the week before the webinar and will contribute to the discussions during the EEG Club session if they are invited to participate. Please, be prepared to ask and discuss with the other colleagues any unclear EEG aspect you may have met during your EEG reading. We will take the time together to emphasize how different EEG aspects may help the reader to know what is happening with the patient during recording; how to use any EEG information to judge normal and pathological aspects, to support diagnosis, or to decide if other investigations are needed for the diagnosis, or even how to choose the right treatment.

Report Template Guidance: CLICK HERE

The attendees may download the proposed report template guidance and read the EEG in the week before the Club meeting and write their own reports. All uncertainties can be addressed during the webinar. An interactive discussion of selected participants, sharing knowledge, bibliography materials or other (denominated) examples on the discussed topic are highly encouraged.
