The EPNS is delighted to offer a free, interactive EEG Club, held on average twice a month on Mondays at 18:00 CET. Each session lasts approximately 60 minutes and is organised by Dana Craiu, Chair of the EPNS Education & Training Committee.

These live sessions are free to attend and open to anyone who registers, providing an excellent opportunity to learn, discuss cases, and engage with colleagues in an interactive setting.

If you are unable to attend a live session, fully paid-up EPNS members can watch the full recording afterwards on the EPNS Moodle platform. A growing library of previous EEG Club sessions is also available there for members to revisit at any time.

Because the EEG Club is designed to be interactive, participants who would like to contribute to the discussion are invited to raise their hand at the start of the webinar. A selected number of attendees will then be upgraded to panellists to take part in the discussion during the session. Please note that all webinar attendees will remain on mute unless they request to be a participant.

EEG to be discussed: CLICK HERE

If an EEG has been shared in advance, participants are encouraged to review the recording and prepare their own interpretation during the week before the webinar. During the EEG Club session, selected participants may be invited to join the panel and contribute to the discussion. Please come prepared to share questions, observations, or any aspects of the EEG that you found challenging or unclear. Together, we will explore how EEG findings can help clinicians, for example:

  • Understand what is happening with the patient during the recording

  • Distinguish normal and pathological EEG features

  • Support clinical diagnosis and decision-making

  • Consider whether additional investigations may be required

  • Inform the most appropriate treatment approach

Report Template Guidance: CLICK HERE

Participants are welcome to download the suggested report template and use it to prepare their own EEG report before the session. Any uncertainties or questions can then be discussed during the webinar. The EEG Club encourages interactive discussion, with selected participants sharing their interpretations, relevant literature, and comparable examples where appropriate.

We are always keen to improve this educational format. After the webinar, participants are invited to complete a short feedback survey to help us refine the format, reporting template, discussion style, and overall structure.
