Challenges of Treating Rare Neurological Diseases – 12-14 March 2025
The ERN-RND is a European Reference Network established by the EU to support patients and families affected by rare neurological diseases (RND) which requires much specialised knowledge, treatment, and resources. https://www.ern-rnd.eu/
The European Pediatric Neurology Society (EPNS) and the European Reference Network for Rare Neurological Diseases (ERN-RND) are organizing a Winter School on Challenges of Treating Rare Neurological Diseases.
The school will take place virtually, from 12th to 14th March 2025.

Eligibility to take part – To be finalised
Previously the criteria were as follows:
- Fully paid up EPNS members OR ERN-RND Affiliated Full Members, Partners and Institutions that are ERN-RND Full Members.
- Residents within five years after receiving MD.
- Young neurologists within five years after receiving Board Certificate.
- Other medical professionals (e.g. physiotherapists) within five years after completing their vocational training.
Selection for ‘interactive session’ participation – To be confirmed
In our previous school the following information was applicable.
There will be places for 15 EPNS members and 15 affiliated ERN-RND members (total 30) to take part in the interactive sessions. Selection is based on the candidate’s CV, motivation statement and patient case. This information will be requested during the online registration.
For those registering only for the presentation part of the programme, the CV, motivation statement and case are not required.
Registration Fee:
Free of charge to fully paid up EPNS members and ERN-RND affiliated members.
